Stardust

The movie industry keeps doing this to me. Some weekends I absolutely can't decide between two films, and other weekends, there's just nothing new out there that I'm getting paid enough to see. Actually, I'm not getting paid at all, but you know what I mean. And though I was interested to see Rush Hour 3, this is the one I was really after this weekend.

The Good Shepherd

Okay, I have to say this first: Matt Damon is absolutely wonderful. I rarely get all girly, but something about Matt just makes me want to sigh and bat my eyelashes. Ah, if only I was a real movie critic -- I could have seen this movie days ago in a lovely private screening.

Killer Elite

I think I like this movie, except now I can't think of anything to say about it, really, which is usually a bad sign. It's like stand-up comedy, maybe -- as long as you're getting some reaction from the audience, that isn't out and out booing, there's still hope. Indifference is the worst possible sign, and that seems to work for movies, too.
