A self-taught critic and genuine movie geek
I’m wondering if this is going to be the latest conversation starter. “So, how about that young adult post-apocalyptic trilogy of your choice?” It even works for books and movies, so it’s perfect, right? As I’ve said about the first installment of this series, they’re all starting to blur together somewhat and the problem isn’t likely to get any better, but there have been worse trends, I suppose.
All these movies based on post-apocalyptic-style teen novels are starting to blur together, but I’ll see what I can do. It was a little odd — I mean, you’d expect Hunger Games to attract a range of ages because it was a hugely popular book, and even Divergent attracted more than just the teen crowd, but this time around I really felt like I was in the wrong theatre.
